Quick Boneless Chicken Karahi

I personally like all form of karahis. Whenever i come accross a different method or ingredient for karahi, its a must for me to try. This recipe i got from one of my UAE’s facebook group friend. I tried it at home, the taste was such that i couldn’t resist it from sharing.

 

 

 

Ingredients

  1. Boneless Chicken cut into cubes 500 grams
  2. Onion 1 large chopped
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Concentrated tomato paste 2 tbsp
  5. Green Chillies 4 to 6
  6. Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  7. Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
  8. Chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. Paprika 1 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil 1/2 cup
  12. Fresh coriander as required

 

Method

Heat oil on high flame, add onions and ginger garlic paste and stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes making sure it doesn’t become brown.

Next add chicken and cook for 3 to 4 minutes then lower the flame.

Then add cumin and mustard seeds.

Now add tomato paste and salt.

Mix well and fry for 1 minute.

Add some water.

Place coriander leaves and green chillies on top, cover the pot then and let it cook on slow flame for 5 to 10 minutes.

Serve it hot with naan or rice.
