Simple Future Tense

Future Tenses expresses the actions you will do in the future or events that will happen in the future.

Future in this statement could mean soon, tomorrow, two weeks, etc. They are usually indicated by auxilliary verbs (shall or will)with the base form of the verbs.

Examples

We shall overcome our fears.

I will go home tomorrow.

I won’t talk to Jane today.

Future tense is also formed by using a form of “go” with the infinitive of the verb.

Example:

We are going to come.

You can even suggest the future with the present.

Example:

We are not going to school tomorrow.

Mary is coming to your place later in the day.

Note that you can combine the auxiliary verb with “be” and the progressive form of the main verb to form a future tense.

Example:

When will you be coming over?
