Rural Areas

The area where you live close to others, is called your neighborhood. The place where people live, work and have fun together is called their community. Your neighborhood may be urban, suburban or rural.
Rural areas have lots of space, and not a lot of people in it. People live far apart from each other, and single family homes are the norm for housing. You won’t find skyscrapers or large apartment buildings in rural areas. You’ll also probably not see public transportation. Most people in rural areas drive to get around.
